A cross-line laser shows one wall at a time; a 3 x 360 laser lays a level line around the whole room and two plumb lines that cross at 90 degrees on the floor and ceiling. That makes cabinet runs, drop ceilings, tile and framing layout much faster. DEWALT's DW089LG projects bright green beams with a 100 ft range, or up to 165 ft in pulse mode with the DW0892G detector (sold separately), at ±1/8 in over 30 ft. It runs on DEWALT's 12V MAX batteries, is rated IP65 against debris and water, and has a locking pendulum and a magnetic bracket with 1/4 in and 5/8 in threads. The kit includes a battery, charger, ceiling bracket, target card and case.
