RightDeals exists to help people choose well. This policy describes how our guides, reviews, comparisons and best-picks pages are made, so that you can judge how much weight to give them.

Independence

  • Brands, stores and affiliate networks cannot pay for coverage, a ranking, a score or a favourable verdict, and they do not see our content before it is published.
  • Commission rates are not an input to RightScore or to the order of our picks. How we earn money is described in our affiliate disclosure.
  • If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be labelled as sponsored at the top of the page.

Two kinds of reviews — always labelled

  • Hands-on review: someone on our team used the product. The review must include testing notes: what was done, by whom, for how long and in which conditions.
  • Research-based review: we have not used the product ourselves. The review weighs manufacturer specifications, published measurements and verified data, and it lists its sources.

Our publishing system rejects phrases such as "we tested", "hands-on" or "in our testing" in any piece that does not document real testing.

Sources and facts

  • Guides and reviews cite at least one public source, and we only cite pages we have actually read.
  • Specifications should match the manufacturer or a cited measurement. Prices are never written into articles: they come from live offers that show when they were last checked.
  • We do not publish user reviews or star ratings that we cannot verify, and we never create them.

How content is produced

Content starts from a reader need — for example a category without a guide, or searches that returned no results. Some outlines and first drafts are prepared with the help of software, including AI writing tools. A person on our team edits every piece, checks the facts against the cited sources and approves it before publication. Automated systems can suggest topics and outlines; they cannot publish.

Each piece passes an automated quality check before it can be approved: a minimum depth for its type, title and description length, sources, review labels, a guard against near-duplicate pages and a check that each language edition is written in that language.

Languages

English and Arabic editions are written separately rather than machine-translated. When an edition is not ready, we say so and link to the language that is available.

Halal product policy

We do not cover or link to products in categories that conflict with our halal policy, including alcohol, gambling, tobacco and nicotine, adult content, pork products and interest-based financial products. Products whose status is unclear are reviewed by a person before they can appear.

Corrections and updates

If we get something wrong, we fix it and update the page date, and significant corrections are noted on the page itself. You can report errors through our contact page. Guides are reviewed periodically so that their recommendations stay current.
