Dash redesigned the idea: an ingredient pusher feeds the food to the stainless steel blades, so your hands stay well away from the sharp edges. Adjust thickness from paper-thin 1 mm up to 8 mm, or switch to julienne, matchsticks, shoestrings or dice. A container catches the food, the frame collapses for storage, and the mandoline and its accessories are dishwasher safe.
